How does a team account work?
The account belongs to the team, not to a person. Whoever starts it becomes the owner: they connect Gmail read-only, add YouTube channels, and group the sources into panels. Adviserry ingests each issue and video once, extracts the text, and embeds it for search.
Everyone else joins by email invite. Accepting an invite puts a teammate straight into the shared archive with no card, no Gmail connection, and no setup wizard, because there is nothing for them to set up. They read what the owner already curated.
That split is the whole design. Ingestion happens once for the team, which is why 5 people on Team costs less than 5 separate accounts and produces one archive instead of 5 overlapping ones.
What does each member actually get?
- The shared panels in their own dashboard. Same sources, same issues, same transcripts, under their own login.
- The daily digest. Sent at the hour each person picks, covering the shared panels plus anything of their own.
- AI chat over the archive. Answers cite the issue or video they came from, with the creator and publish date attached.
- Their own MCP token. One per member, taken from Settings, for Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, or Gemini CLI. Usage stays attributable to the person who ran the query, at 500 requests per rolling hour each.
- The drafted actions. Synthesis runs once per shared panel, so the team reads one draft rather than five near-identical ones.
What a member cannot do: add or remove a source, change panel settings, or touch billing. Those stay with the owner on purpose, so a shared archive cannot be quietly rearranged by whoever logged in last.

How do I invite people?
From the Team page in the app, also linked from Settings. Enter an email address and Adviserry sends an invite link. Accepting it creates or attaches their account and drops them into the shared archive.
5 seats are included and the owner holds one of them, so that is the owner plus 4 teammates. Extra seats are $25 a month each and can be added or removed whenever. A pending invite holds its seat until it is accepted or cancelled, so a team cannot over-invite past what it pays for.
Owners and admins can send invites. Only the owner can change the seat count or the billing.
What happens if the owner leaves?
Today the owner is fixed. The app will not let the owner be removed from the roster or their role be reassigned, which is deliberate: the owner holds the Gmail connection the whole archive is built from, and an accidental removal would strand the team.
So the handover is manual for now. If the owner is on their way out, email us at support@cassontech.com before they go and we will move the team to a new owner. Everyone else keeps working in the meantime. Self-serve ownership transfer is on the list, and we would rather say that than imply a button exists.
